Classical stainless steel belay much used and prized in the setting up of routes in alpine and cliff climbing, when placement is carried out by means of expansion bolts.
Equipped with a very resistant descending carabiner (art.165).
Our special chain has been designed to let the carabiner be inserted on the inside of the adjacent maillon.
This allows the fixing of the abseiling hanger, redoubling the possibilities of finding a perfect placement for the belay.
This specification is a unique distinctive feature of all our belays, in comparison to other similar products on the market.
Besides, this chain results very comfortable for clipping carabiners on the inside of the two maillons, even for more than one person being present on the belay, a frequent happening.
Finally the belay is finished (as like all the others) in a slightly matt light grey colour.
Creating a minor environmental impact visual effect, meaning the belay is “less noticeable”.
